- Monitor compliance with research protocols, SOPs, and standards of animal care
- Train personnel in animal husbandry and basic technical procedures
- Point of contact for all occupational exposures and injuries
- Provide specific hazard training for biological, physical or chemical hazards
- Assist in writing and review of laboratory chemical hygiene plans
- Provide OSHA safety signs and hazard communication training to all staff
