Immunology Services
The Immunology Services (IS) Unit offers comprehensive support & consultation for pre-clinical studies at the WNRPC. Its state-of-the-art flow cytometry facility includes a BSL3-housed cell sorter, ideal for infectious disease studies in nonhuman primates. IS staff are trained with extensive experience in ELISA and flow cytometry-based assays to deliver reliable, high-quality data. Most recently, we have expanded our capabilities with a dedicated monoclonal antibody isolation core, which can isolate antibodies from virtually any animal species.
We welcome inquiries from all investigators. Learn how we support investigators at Immunology Services Case Studies.
Supported Services
- Expert consultation on pre-clinical study design
- Comprehensive sample collection coordination and management
- Isolation of lymphocytes and serum/plasma from blood and tissues
- Development of custom immune assays tailored to specific research needs
- Measurement of antigen-specific T cell responses

- Ex Vivo Analysis of SIV Infected Cells by Flow Cytometry (PDF)
Staining panel to identify & quantify neutrophil progenitors in Rhesus Macaques
Antigen-specific Monoclonal Antibody Isolation
Using our novel SMART-RACE-based approach, our innovative cloning method eliminates the need for complex primer mixtures, enhancing recovery rates of heavy & light chain genes from single cells. Ideal for researchers developing novel diagnostic tools, therapeutic antibodies, or research reagents.
