Osorio to lead UW Global Health Institute

Jorge Osorio — a member of WNPRC’s Global Infectious Disease working group and a longtime collaborator on the center’s dengue vaccine and Zika research — has been named to lead the UW Global Health Institute.

Jorge Osorio, an expert in epidemiology, virology and vaccines, has been named the next director of GHI, which applies research, education and outreach to advance equitable and sustainable health in Wisconsin and around the world.
