SELECT A PRIMATE
The PIN factsheets serve as a starting point to find information about key topics in primatology, including various primate species. Each animal factsheet covers one or more species, including their evolution and ecology, behavior, conservation status and images. The Primate Factsheets Glossary defines any complex terminology used throughout.
PrimateLit, a bibliographic database of more than 200,000 citations about non-human primate literature dating from 1940, may also be of interest to researchers. Though deaccessioned in December 2018, given the growth of services like Google Scholar, the old PrimateLit XML data files have been archived by Minds@UW.

Primate Info Net (PIN) is maintained by the Wisconsin National Primate Research Center (WNPRC) at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, with countless grants and contributions from others over time. PIN is an ever-growing community effort: if you’d like to contribute, or have questions, please don’t hesitate to contact us.
